Impressing Web2 gamers, Delysium hosts an exciting Playtest Fest in the Philippines
Delysium has organized an exciting Playtest Fest event with the slogan of “We challenge you to the Battle Royale” on October 28th and 29th, 2022, during Web3 PH Summit 2022 in Manila, Philippines. In collaboration with Team Secret, one of the most well-known Web2 gaming guilds in the Philippines, Delysium’s Playtest Fest aims to break down barriers between Web2 and Web3 gaming through providing a high-quality gaming experience in Delysium’s virtual world. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with the Delysium team about the vision for an open Metaverse ecosystem and the development of a AAA Web3 game in the Philippines market.
This event brought together traditional Web2 gamers from guilds like Good Games Guild, Balthazar Guild, Bountie Hunter, and Descent Guild, as well as three professional gaming influencers who are experienced in industry leading eSport games like Valorant, League of Legends, and PUBG Mobile. In addition, the event was co-hosted by Team Secret, a team known for its achievements in professional competitive gaming on the international stage.

“We are enjoying the game so far as it has a similar feel to Rules of Survival & PUBG” said Balthazar PH Team. At the Playtest Fest, players formed teams and competed in Delysium’s Battle Royale to earn special collaborative rewards from Delysium and Team Secret. We provide each team with the same number of matches based on a points-ranking system, with the final score determined by the team’s rank and the number of kills.
The excitement at Hey Cafe E Sports Stadium was palpable as teams with the highest ranks and kill scores moved onto the Final in the highly competitive Delysium Playtest Fest. The tournament was filled with team communication, strategic play, and cheering, reminiscent of traditional esports tournaments like Dota2, League of Legends, CS:GO, PUBG, and Valorant. As one of the first events to bring this level of intensity to the Web3 E-sport scene, Delysium has been a resounding success thanks to the support of our co-hosts, attendees, and players. As a token of our appreciation, all participants received a premium gift pack to take home.
Pioneering a new Approach to the Industry

Jerry Zhang, our COO and Co-Founder, participated in a panel discussion at the Web3 PH Summit, titled “GAMING THE SYSTEM: What is the future of blockchain gaming?” Jerry was joined by experts from Animoca Brands, Playgroundzero, BreederDAO, and Serriva Labs. The summit was one of the biggest Web3 conferences in the Philippines, and it was held in conjunction with Playtest Fest.
During the panel, Jerry discussed our decentralized publishing model, which we believe will revolutionize Web3 gaming. At Delysium, we aim to build an AI-powered open world with diverse, free-to-own universes. Each universe will be operated by a separate Delysium Multiverse Operator (DMO). DMOs can be Web3 experts who want to own NFTs based on Delysium’s IP, as well as Web2 game producers who want to create their own customized tokenomics or incentive systems.
This innovative model allows players to enjoy a wider range of rich and diverse content through the creation and operation of community-based DMOs.
